Dr. Mary Thomas :  I  graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 1984.  My first job was in my home town of  Prosser working for Dr. Douglas Jackson doctoring horses and cattle as well as the small animals that I now limit myself to.  In 1987 Dr. Sue Wedam and myself purchased the practice.  I  love the people and town of Prosser and cannot imagine living anywhere else!  My staff and I are working hard to provide the pets of Prosser with high quality, compassionate medical care.

I currently share my home with my husband, four children, , a one-eyed Pomeranian (Rufie), a Golden Retriever (Puddles), a terrier mix (Nina), four cats (Steffie, Vader, D.J., and Lionel), a turtle (Tina), a horse (Candy), and a Quaker Parrot (Kiwi).  I enjoy obedience training, skiing, needlework, scrapbooking, camping, and all the kids' activities.   I am convinced that teaching our children to love and care for a pet will make them better members of our society.

Hi my name is Mary

I have raised a family, been educated, and lived in the Yakima Valley since the age of three years.   I came to the Prosser Animal Hospital as a receptionist in January of 1991. I love my job and the people I work with.  I have learned many things about animals and their care since I came to PAH and the learning continues today. I have three children and five grandchildren.  In 1982 our porch was graced with the presence of Miss Kitty, a grey and white feline.  She came one day and has been there ever since. Also as part of my family is a five year old black Dachshund/Terrier hound pup named Oscar Meyer. He loves to play tether ball with my grandchildren. He often gets too excited and bites a hole in the ball.

Come visit us at PAH we would love to serve you and your pets!

Hi!  My name is Jackie.

I am the head technician at the Prosser Animal Hospital.  I have been here for eight years where I assist the doctors in surgery, perform bloodwork, take radiographs, and help in the management of medical cases.  I especially enjoy educating our clients as to how to better care for their pets, prevent disease, and help their friends live longer.  I have also become quite fond of our clinic iguana, "Liz", and I am her favorite person.  This is quite a surprise since originally I could barely stand to be in the same room as that reptile!  I live with my husband, son, our Miniature Pinscher, "Bug", and two cats, "Ginger" and "Griz".  I enjoy horseback riding on my Arab gelding (I used to compete in endurance rides), family, and travel

Hi! I am one of the newest members of the Prosser Animal Hospital staff. I was hired in August.  I am currently a " Veterinarian Assistant".  My name is Trisha Springer.   I was born and raised in San Jose California.  That is where we  started our own family.   My husband Brad and our two sweet girls Brittany and madison, relocated to Prosseer in January 1999.

I have held  a verity of different jobs and this one is the most fulfilling.  My family acquired a Black lab which had been hit by a car and was seriously injured.   Needless to say we took him in and named him "Chaos" which is  a perfect name for him.   My daughter's kitten which she named  "Princess Diana" was a abandon kitten left in a box out side of the clinic one morning.   animal seem to bring a different kind of light into peoples lives, we should be grateful of that and not take advantage of it.
